A musical VR game about hitting beach balls to the beat of a song. Designed to help the elderly and disabled improve their motor skills in a fun and intuitive way. A highly challenging aspect was analysing the frequency and sound spectrum of songs to determine when a beat occurs. I tried several audio systems and different algorithms until I got it right. The next challenge was being able to analyse beats in real time, ahead of the actual song, in order to spawn balls to arrive right at the beat. Thankfully, I was able to pull the two complex systems together and have everything working in the end!
